Purpose. We hypothesised that six-minute walk (6MWT) distance of patients with ambulatory multiple sclerosis (MS) would differ from age-matchcd healthy control subjects. We also investigated the contribution of demographic, physical and physiological factors to impaired functional capacity in MS.
