ÖZ


Ses sanatı, insanın doğal olanın cazibesine dayanarak yarattığı estetik bir gelenektir. Ses’e duyulan sevgi; konser salonlarında, sanat galerilerinde, açık havada, yayınlanan albümlerde ya da dijital yazılımlarda rahatlıkla görülebilir. Sesler, kendi doğal ortamlarında keşfedilebilir ya da birçok besteci, ses tasarımcısı, performans ve enstalasyon sanatçısı tarafından ses yazılım ve donanımları kullanılarak akustik ve elektronik cihazlar aracılığıyla üretilebilir.   

Günümüzde ses ve müziğin seramikle buluşma noktaları; çok çeşitli çalgı aletleri ve ses ekipmanları gibi fonksiyonel pratiklerle kullanımının yanında, teknolojinin malzeme ile sunduğu gelişmeler dâhilinde sanatsal eylemlerde de rahatlıkla görülebilir. Seramik ve türevleri(porselen/kompozit malzemeler), bu güncel tasarım ve performanslara katkı sağlayan yaratıcı bir enstrüman haline gelmektedir.  

Bu araştırmada, sanatçıların çalışmalarında ses ve müzikal öğeleri yaratırken seramik ve porselen gibi materyalleri kullanarak nasıl özgün ve ilginç sesler elde ettiklerini, bu birikimle birlikte eylem aşamasında hem sesi hem de malzemeyi farklı birer temsil aracı olarak seçtiklerini görebiliriz. Sanatçılar, besteciler, müzik tasarımcıları, mühendisler vb. müzik dinlemek için sürekli yeni yollar ve arayışlar önermektedir. Ses ve malzeme üzerine yaratıcı çözümlemelerle üretilen beste, performans ve eylemlerin dinletiler aracılığıyla yansıtılması, tüm bu performans ve çalışmaların seramik malzeme ile birlikte Ses Sanatı’nın gelişimsel yolculuğunda geleceğe doğru ilerlemesine katkı sağlayabilecektir.

THE USEGE OF CERAMICS AS A CREATIVE INSTRUMENT IN SOUND ART

 

Abstract


The art of sound is an aesthetic tradition created by man based on the charm of the natural. Love for sound; It can be easily seen in concert halls, art galleries, outdoors, published albums or digital software. Sounds can be explored in their natural environment or produced by acoustic and electronic devices using sound software and hardware by many composers, sound designers, performance and installation artists.

Today, the meeting points of sound and music with ceramics; In addition to the use of functional instruments such as a wide range of instruments and sound equipment, it can be easily seen in artistic activities within the material of advances in technology. Ceramics and its derivatives (porcelain / composite materials) are becoming a creative instrument that contributes to these current designs and performances.

In this research, we can see how the artists have obtained original and interesting sounds by using materials such as ceramics and porcelain while creating sound and musical elements in their works, and they have chosen both sound and material as a different means of representation in this action stage. Artists, composers, music designers, engineers etc. He always offers new ways to listen to music. The reflection of the compositions, performances and actions produced by creative analysis on sound and material through the performances will contribute to the progression of all these performances and works with the ceramic material towards the future in the developmental journey of the Sound Art.
