Abstract

BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: The use of drugs via feeding tube is problematic. Appropriate techniques must be used during the administration to prevent obstruction of a feeding tube, to avoid inadequate drug effects and to minimize the risk of toxicity of the given pharmaceuticals.
