Özet

Mathematical models for describing tube mills and air separators on the basis of sampling surveys were used in a closed clinker grinding circuit. Mass balances, modelling and simulation studies were carried out by using the JKSimmet computer program developed by JKMRC (Julius Kruttschnitt Mineral Research Center) in Australia. The results indicated that reduction in the grinding media size in the second grinding compartment made a considerable improvement in the capacity of the grinding circuit. It was also found that removing the static separator used for classifying the material discharged pneumatically from the mill increased the finished product output by 4.5 % for the same fineness.
