Abstract

In this paper, J. S. Bach’s chorale harmonization of cantus firmus “Ach Gott, erhör’ mein Seufzen” (BWV 254) was analyzed in a Schenkerian perspective that was suggested in Lori Burns’ dissertation “J.S. Bach’s chorale harmonizations of modal cantus firmi” (1991). 

Bu makalede, J. S. Bach’ın “Ach Gott, erhör’ mein Seufzen” adlı koral armonizasyonunun (BWV 254) Şenkeryan analizi gerçekleştirilmiştir. Söz konusu analizde, Lori Burns’ün  “J. S. Bach’s chorale harmonizations of modal cantus firmi” (1991) adlı doktora tezinde sunulan yöntem temel alınmıştır.
