Özet
Within the scope of this study, research on the family Buprestidae was carried out in Ankara province of Türkiye. A total of 44 species belonging to the five subfamilies and 14 genera were collected and identified during 2018 and 2019. Buprestinae was found to be the most diverse subfamily in the study area with 19 species belonging to three genera. In faunistic evaluations and discussions, species numbers and their distribution according to genera, subfamilies and districts of Ankara are given. Comparison of faunal similarities among the districts of Ankara showed that Beypazarı district has the highest species diversity. Distributional evaluations indicate that the Buprestidae fauna of Ankara exhibits the highest similarity with the fauna of the Eastern European subregion within the Palaearctic region.
