Introduction: Anticipation is a covert aspect of stuttering that plays a crucial role in the lives of adults who stutter (AWS). It can influence anxiety levels or provide an opportunity for self-regulation. For assessing anticipation in stuttering, the Stuttering Anticipation Scale (SAS) was developed. This study aimed to develop a Turkish version of the SAS (SAS-TR) and evaluate its validity and reliability. Method: Ninety-four AWS (aged 18-40 years) participated in the study. They completed SAS-TR and demographic information form either face-to-face or online. The internal consistency, test-retest reliability, and construct validity of the SAS-TR were assessed. Exploratory factor analysis (EFA) was also conducted as part of the construct validity evaluation. Results: The SAS-TR scale demonstrated high internal consistency (Cronbach's alpha = 0.947) and high testretest reliability (ICC = 0.973). SAS-TR total score and its subdimensions showed acceptable to high positive correlations among themselves (ranging from r = 0.209 to r = 0.962). Factor loadings for the SAS-TR items ranged between 0.572 and 0.899, exceeding 0.300 and indicating suitability for EFA. Conclusion: The SAS-TR exhibits valid and reliable properties for Turkish-speaking AWS. It is recommended for use in both research and clinical settings to enhance understanding of anticipatory behaviors in this population
