Özet

There are constant innovations in both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments in atrial fibrillation (AF). However, we are not concerned with the subject of protection as much as treatment. Whereas, we know that treatment approaches are not easy in AF. Especially, success in rhythm control is not high. In this chapter, we will discuss the risk factors that we can partially or fully change and what can be done to prevent the development of AF.
