Özet

Sustainable Design is a multidimensional issue concerning cultural, social and economical dimensions. The cultural approaches of sustainability in city planning are the signs of the life styles, traditions, religions and the way people react to common urban spaces. The social approaches show the potential values of the societies regarding ordinary life styles. The social reflections may vary in urban planning, so the advantage and disadvantages of these variables should be carefully analyzed. In this case study Environmental Designing Parameters are identified deeply with sustainable reflections in touristic cities. These cities are under the essence of sustainable principles of urban planning with the property of seashore usage. The comparison of Istanbul and Antalya is the case study of this paper. In the results and conclusions the parameters of the concept of sustainable tourism on behalf of coastline cities are declined.
