Türkiye coğrafyasında zengin bir tarihe sahip olan seramik sanatı, Cumhuriyet sonrası
dönemden bugüne dek çağdaş bir yorumlama ve bireysel üslup ile yükseltilmeye çalışılmıştır.
Türkiye’de seramik endüstrisinin ilk adımları atılmış; sektörün, sanatçılar ve nitelikli araştırmacılara
endüstri alanında atölyeler tahsis etmesiyle karşılıklı imkânlar sağlanmıştır. Endüstri temelli
ve özel atölyeler bazı eğitimci sanatçılar ile çalışma ortaklığına gitmiştir. Açılan özel atölyeler sanatçıların ihtiyacı olan sanatsal çevreyi oluşturarak seramik sanatının günümüzdeki
değerine ulaşmasında önemli pay sahibi olmuştur. Ancak, sanatçılara ve araştırmacılara açılan
endüstriyel atölyelere erişim ölçütü neydi? Hangi sanatçılar iş birliğinden ve özel atölyelerden
faydalandı ve görüşleri ne oldu? Makalede, öncü atölyeler ve faydaları etrafında genel bir
araştırma yapılırken bu sorulara da kısaca değinilmektedir. Ayrıca, uzun yıllar bireysel atölyeye
sahip iki sanatçı ile kısa görüşmeler gerçekleştirilerek, alanın güçlüklerine dikkat çekmek istenmektedir. Sonuç bölümünde ise seramik alanının zorluğundan dolayı iş ortaklığının öneminden,
seramik atölyelerinin güncel durumundan ve çağın seramik pratiğine sağladığı faydalardan
kısaca bahsedilmektedir.
The art of ceramics, which has a rich history in the geography of Turkey, has been tried to
be upgraded from The Post-Republic period to the present day with a contemporary interpretation and
individual style. The first steps of the ceramic industry have been taken in Turkey; mutual opportunities
have been provided for allocating ateliers in the field of industry to artists and qualified researchers of the sector. Industry-based and private ateliers have collaborated with some academic artists.
The special ateliers in that were opened and provided an artistic environment needed by the artists
and had a significant share in the attainment of the present value of ceramic art. However, what was
the measure of access to industrial ateliers that opened up to artists and researchers? Which artists
benefited from collaboration and individual ateliers and what was their opinion? This article briefly
addresses these questions and atelier’s benefits while conducting a general review around regarding individual ateliers. In addition, it is planning to draw attention to the difficulties of the discipline
by conducting short interviews with two artists who have had individual ateliers for many years. How
partnership plays significant role in the arts of ceramics due to the difficulty of the ceramic discipline,
the current situation of the ceramic ateliers and its benefits to the ceramic practice of the age will be
discussed in the conclusion part.
