Abstract

Background and Objectives: Mean platelet volume (MPV) is a potential marker of platelet reactivity. Increased MPV levels are shown to be the predictor of cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, and stroke. Previous studies demonstrated increased MPV levels in patients with obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS). The aim of this study was to examine the impact of 1-stage multilevel surgical treatment on MPV levels in patients with OSAS.
