Aim: In this research article, a thematic analysis was conducted on the minimum success rank condition to be applied for programs that qualify as Health Professionals, based on the minimum placement success ranks of undergraduate programs in the field of Health Sciences in Turkey according to the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) results from 2022, 2023, and 2024. Subjects and Method: The universities and rankings of the last candidates who were placed according to the highest and lowest Base Success Rankings in the Health Sciences programs with and without Health Professionals in YKS-2022, 2023, and 2024 were obtained from the YÖK Undergraduate Atlas Preference Wizard page. Information regarding the number of TYT (Basic Proficiency Test) and AYT (Field Proficiency Test) correct answers of the last placed candidates according to the highest and lowest Base Success Rankings was obtained from the YÖK Undergraduate Atlas TYT-AYT Net Wizard. In converting the number of correct answers into percentages, the weights determined for the numerical score types were used, and while evaluating the Minimum Success Ranking Condition, cutoff points of 200,000, 250,000, and 300,000 were applied for the Base Success Rankings. Results: Among Health Professionals Programs, the program with the highest Minimum Success Ranking is Speech and Language Therapy. The difference between the highest and lowest Minimum Success Rankings has reached up to 1,422,937 people for Nutrition and Dietetics programs, 1,422,475 people for Nursing programs, and 1,396,564 people for Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation programs across all years. When the Minimum Success Ranking Condition is 200,000, approximately 50% of the TYT questions and about 30% of the AYT questions will have been answered correctly. Conclusion: The proposed condition is to set a Minimum Success Ranking Requirement of 200,000 for the Health Professionals Programs such as Nutrition and Dietetics, Speech and Language Therapy, Midwifery, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Nursing, Audiology, and Perfusion.
Amaç: Bu araştırma makalesinde Yükseköğretim Kurumları Sınavı (YKS)-2022-2023 ve 2024’e göre Türkiye’de Sağlık Bilimleri alanında eğitim veren lisans programlarına yerleşenlerin taban başarı sıralamaları ve bu sıralamalara göre Sağlık Meslek Mensubu olan programlar için Asgari Başarı Sırası Koşulu getirilmesi konusu üzerinde bir tematik analiz yapılmıştır. Bireyler ve Yöntem: Sağlık Meslek Mensubu olan ve olmayan Sağlık Bilimleri programlarına YKS-2022, 2023 ve 2024 yıllarında en yüksek ve en düşük Taban Başarı Sıralaması’na göre yerleşen son adayların yerleştikleri üniversiteler ve sıralamaları YÖK Lisans Atlası Tercih Sihirbazı sayfasından, en yüksek ve en düşük Taban Başarı Sıralaması’na göre yerleşen son adayların TYT (Temel Yeterlilik Testi) ve AYT (Alan Yeterlilik Testi) net sayılarına ilişkin bilgiler YÖK Lisans Atlası TYT-AYT Net Sihirbazı Atlası’ndan alınmış, net sayılarının yüzdeye çevrilmesinde sayısal puan türleri için belirlenmiş ağırlıklar ile Asgari Başarı Sıralaması Koşulu değerlendirilirken Taban Başarı Sıralamaları için 200.000, 250.000 ve 300.00 kesim noktaları kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Sağlık Meslek Mensubu programları arasında en yüksek Taban Başarı Sıralaması’na sahip program Dil ve Konuşma Terapisi’dir. En yüksek ve en düşük Taban Başarı Sıralaması arasındaki fark tüm yıllarda Beslenme ve Diyetetik programları için 1.422.937, Hemşirelik programları için 1.422.475, Fizyoterapi ve Rehabilitasyon programları için 1.396.564 kişiye kadar yükselmiştir. Asgari Başarı Sıralaması Koşulu’nın 200.000 olduğunda TYT sorularının ~%50’si, AYT sorularının ise ~%30’u doğru yanıtlanmış olacaktır. Sonuç: Sağlık Meslek Mensubu olan Beslenme ve Diyetetik, Dil ve Konuşma Terapisi, Ebelik, Ergoterapi, Fizyoterapi ve Rehabilitasyon, Hemşirelik, Odyoloji ve Perfüzyon programları için Asgari Başarı Sıralaması Koşulu’nun getirilmesi ve bunun 200.000 olması önerilmektedir.
