Abstract

Three patients with intestinal atresias were treated by seromuscular stripping and mucosal plication to eliminate the risk of anastomotic leakage through the plication line and reduce the bulk of the plicated mass. The patients all had uncomplicated postoperative courses and tolerated oral feedings within 10 days.
