Abstract

In the title compound, [ZnCl2(C8H6N2)(2)], the Zn-II atom is coordinated in a distorted tetrahedral environment by two Cl atoms and two N atoms from the phthalazine ligands. There is an intramolecular C-H...N interaction between the phthalazine ligands.
