Abstract

Aim: During medical procedures, anxiety is a common problem that may lead to decrease in tolerance and increase in stress of patients. Bronchoscopy is a frequently applied invasive procedure for diagnosis of pulmonary pathologies. In this study we aimed to compare the effect of written informed consent and comprehensive multimedia information on the anxiety level of patients undergoing bronchoscopy.
