The title compound, C14H20N2O5, was synthesized as a Mannich base and characterized by IR, H-1 NMR, GC mass spectra and elemental analysis. The piperazine ring displays a chair conformation, and the crystal structure is stabilized by O-H...O and C-H...O intra- and intermolecular hydrogen bonds.
