Bu yazının amacı, Platon'un anlaşılması en güç diyaloglarından biri olarak bilinen Parmenides'i çözümlemeye çalışmaktır. Parmenides diyaloğu sırtını yasladığı Pre-Sokratik tartışmadan bağımsız olarak ele alınamaz. Bu nedenle, öncelikle, diyaloğun gelişiminde etkin rol oynamış Herakleitos, Parmenides, Protagoras ve Gorgias gibi filozofların düşüncelerinden bahsedilecektir. Daha sonra Platon'un bu filozoflardan etkilenerek oluşturduğu erken dönem düşüncelerine yer verilecektir. Son olarak da, bütün bu geçmişin ışığında Parmenides diyaloğunun çözümlenmesine geçilecektir.
The Purpose of this article is an analysis of Parmenides which is known as one of the most difficult dialogues of Plato. Undoubtedly Parmenides can not be discussed independently of Pre-Socratic philosophers' thoughts on which it depends. For this reason, firstly the considerations of some philosophers like Heaclitus, Parmenides, Protagoras and Gorgias, which have taken active roles in progress of Pamenides dialogue, will be detailedly discussed. Next, Plato's early thoughts which were influenced by those Pe-Socatic philosophers will be explained. And finally, in light of these two discussions, Parmenides will be analysed.
