Abstract

We conducted this study to test the impact of values on women's sustainable consumption behavior. The sample consisted of 600 women in Ankara, Turkey. We used a list Of 23 values from five value types from Schwartz's model. We measured sustainable consumption behavior with a five-point scale for 14 environment-friendly behaviors. We found that the values of this sample of Turkish women are related to their behaviors. Copyright (C) 2007 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd and ERP Environment.
