This study examines the needs and challenges of ecological migrants in T & uuml;rkiye by specifically analyzing how institutional social services respond to these needs. Utilizing a qualitative research design, 106 participants were interviewed, including 63 individuals displaced by ecological events (earthquakes, dam projects, floods) and 43 professionals from municipalities and NGOs (Non-Governmental Organizations). The first analysis reveal that migrants face multidimensional challenges-financial instability, lack of psychosocial support, and limited employment access-that require a coordinated social service response. Although municipalities and NGOs play active roles in service provision, gaps persist in trauma-informed care, long-term livelihood planning, and integration-focused interventions. The second analysis highlights that most needs fall under "subsistence" and "protection" categories, suggesting a dominance of survival-oriented services over holistic approaches. Furthermore, a lack of strategic alignment between social service actors reduces the effectiveness of these efforts. This research advocates for a more integrated policy and service delivery model that enhances coordination across local governance structures and civil society, enabling more sustainable outcomes for ecological migrants. Future research should explore innovative policy models that enhance coordination between municipalities and NGOs to develop comprehensive, long-term support strategies for ecological migrants.
