Abstract

Heteroptera fauna of Turkey was subject to numerous research, starting with Horv?th (1883) which is considered to be the first publication that specifically focused on the Heteroptera fauna of Turkey and it presented records of 176 Heteroptera species from Bursa. The first milestone in the knowledge of Heteroptera fauna of Turkey was laid by Hoberlandt (1956), and later by finder et al. (2006) both of which, to some extent, summarized the current knowledge of Heteroptera fauna of Turkey at their times.
