Abstract  This study was planned and carried out in order to get the opinions of university students about the problems they experience in distance education during the covid-19 pandemic process, to determine their concerns about the corona virus and their satisfaction with life. The universe of the research consists of students with different socio-demographic characteristics who are studying at various universities in Turkey at the undergraduate level. The sample of the research is 1552 students who agreed to participate in the online survey, which was reached by simple random sampling method and prepared through Google forms. Students participating in the study were reached through social media platforms (Facebook, Whatsapp, Instagram, etc.). The research form of the study includes questions to measure the socio-demographic characteristics of the students, as well as the form consisting of 7 questions prepared by Kürtüncü and Kurt (2004) to measure the problems experienced in relation to distance education. The "Coronavirus Phobia Scale" developed by Arpacı, Karataş and Baloğlu (2020) and the Personal Well-Being Index Adult Form (KIOI-YF) prepared by the International Weelbeing Group were also used in the research. According to the results of the research, there was a significant difference between the genders regarding the Coronavirus phobia. According to this result, it was seen that female students (M=2.80, SD=0.83) had more anxiety about coronavirus than male students (M=2.53, SD=0.82) (p<0.05). In terms of life satisfaction, there was no significant difference between male and female students. In the study, there was also a significant difference between the genders in other issues related to the problems experienced in distance education, except for the statements "I have difficulty in following the courses due to the limited opportunities on the Internet and computers" and "Due to the distance education system of the school".
