Özet

In this study, the base ionospheric trend of lower and upper mid-latitude bands is statistically and morphologically investigated using Global Ionosphere Maps spanning the years 2000-2025. Signal mismatches between the two bands are determined using Root Mean Square Difference and Modified Hausdorff Distance for absolute amplitude differences, alongside Symmetric Kullback-Leibler Distance and Dissimilarity Measure for structural and shape divergences. Analyses conducted across four Solar Activity (SA) phases reveal that while amplitude-based deviations are directly proportional to SA, structural divergences - especially during low SA phases - reflect the dominant impact of local magnetic and atmospheric anomalies within the signal space.
