Özet

The purpose of this study is to identify the department of Psychological Counseling and Guidance students' student and teacher misbehaviours in the classrooms and the approaches that they use to cope with them. The main purpose of this study was how to cope with undesired teacher and student behaviors from the perspective of the Psychological Counseling and Guidance department prospective teachers. It was also aimed to present the views about how to prevent undesired behaviors in the classroom after becoming a teacher. This study was conducted with sophomores in guidance department. In the first phase of this study, the data was collected from sample case studies within the school year of 2009-2010 with regards to classroom management issues. In the second phase, qualitative data was collected from six teachers who were students during the first phase. This phase was conducted through interviews in 2012. The collected data was defined by content analysis. Depending on the data, it can be concluded that application of their classroom techniques contributed to coping with classroom management issues.
