© 2019 IISE Annual Conference and Expo 2019. All rights reserved.Since knowledge in the real world is not completely credible, the reliability of information when decision-making must be considered. Z-number, a new concept related to reliability of the information, has two fuzzy components (A, B); the former is the value of the variable, and the latter is the reliability of the former. Axiomatic Design, providing a systematic search in design space to determine the best design alternative, has been widely applied in decision-making. In this paper, we extend Axiomatic Design by representing the reliability information with a Z-number, and demonstrate the applicability of the proposed method in a case study.
