Abstract

This report describes a pediatric patient with cholecystectomy, excision of type 1 choledochal cyst, and Roux-en-y hepatojejunostomy in whom hepatobiliary scintigraphy played an important role to find out the reason of her postoperative symptoms, helped her surgeons to make the postoperative diagnosis as ascending cholangitis, and plan the patient's secondary therapy.
