In this study, we aimed to determine the perception of organizational silence of the lecturers in the faculty of education, faculty of engineering and faculty of science and literature of the three state universities in Ankara. We examined the perception of the organizational silence of the faculty members according to the gender, academic title, administrative duty, faculty and the tenure of office. Three hundred and forty-nine faculty members were chosen by the stratified sampling method participated in the study. The data were collected through survey "Organizational Silence Scale" developed by Cakici (2007) and were analyzed by using descriptive statistics parameters, t-test and ANOVA. In the study, the results of faculty members' silence were found to change according to gender, academic title, administrative duty, faculty and the tenure of office in the organization.
