Özet

This Study was carried Out to determine the effects of probiotic and anticoccidial additives in the diets on performance and blood parameters of rabbits. Ill this experiment a total of 48 weaned New Zealand White rabbits (24 females, 24 males) aged 6 weeks were used. They were divided into one control and three treatment groups each containing 12 rabbits (6 female, 6 male). The diets of file first, second and third treatment groups were supplemented with 1000 ppm probiotic (Bioteksin (TM) L), 66 ppm anticoccidial agent (robenidine hydrochloride, Cycostat(R) 66G) and 1000 ppm probiotic + 66 ppm robenidine hydrochloride, respectively. The experimental period listed 6 weeks. At the end of the experiment, there were no statistically differences among the groups in body weight, body weight gain, feed Consumption, feed efficiency, carcass yield and the digestibility of dry matter, organic matter, crude protein and ADF in feeds. The inclusion of anticoccidial agent in the diets increased file percentages of liver weight independently (P=0.003). Other organ weight percentages were not statistically affected by probiotic and robenidine. There were no statistically differences among the groups in coccidiosis lesions in liver and small intestine of rabbits. The serum cholesterol concentration was significantly decreased (p=0.05) by the supplementation of probiotic independently. There were no statistically significant differences among the groups in other blood parameters.
