Özet

Elastofibroma dorsi is a rare, benign soft tissue tumor frequently localized in infrasubscapular region. This tumor-like lesion is usually seen in old females unilaterally. Symptomatic patients usually complain of shoulder and back pain. It can easily be overlooked since physical examination usually normal. Recognition of this lesion's characteristics is important in terms of differential diagnosis of benign and malignant tumors. Elastifibroma dorsi can be overlooked because of its localization. In this paper, a 63-year-old female patient with bilateral elastofibroma is described. A bilateral soft tissue tumor was detected in infrascapular region with computed tomography. Diagnosis of the patient was made with 64-channel multi-detector computed tomography and proven histopathologically.
