Özet

The aim of this work is to optimize the formulation of albumin microspheres loaded with cyclophosphamide by using 22 factorial design. We selected two independent variables, i.e. glutaraldehyde concentration and stabilization time. The dependent variable chosen was the release rate of cyclophosphamide from the microspheres. The microspheres were prepared by the emulsion/polymerization of chemically-stable glutaraldehyde. Microsphere size was determined with a Coulter Multisizer and was found to be 3 μm. The formulation that delayed the release of cyclophosphamide. (0.7 ml of solution to 25% glutaraldehyde, stabilization time 1 h) was retained for use in in vivo animal experiments.
