Abstract

The study was carried out in the Mathematics Education branches of various universities. The sample was determined to be based on the criterion of taking the course of Complex Analysis. Therefore, the study seeks to identify the undergraduate students' misconceptions and common mistakes in regard to complex numbers. The study revealed the misconceptions and difficulty of undergraduate students regarding complex numbers and concluded that undergraduate students have similar misconcptions about complex numbers like eleventh-grade students.
