Özet

Bu araúWÕrmada Maggie McVay Lynch Ö÷renme Stili Envanterinin dilsel eúde÷erlik, geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalÕúmalarÕ yapÕlarak Türkiye koúullarÕna adaptasyonu amaçlanmÕúWÕr. AraúWÕrma, Hacettepe Üniversitesi E÷itim Fakültesi’nin çeúitli bölümlerinde lisans e÷itimlerine devam eden 668 ö÷renci (321 kÕz, 347 erkek) ile yürütülmüútür. Envanter 60 maddeli 3’lü Likert tipindedir. Envanterin geçerlik çalÕúmalarÕ kapsamÕnda kapsam ve yapÕ geçerli÷i çalÕúmalarÕ yapÕlmÕúWÕr. Ö÷renme stili envanterinin kapsam geçerli÷i için uzman görüúü alÕnmÕú, yapÕ geçerli÷i ise faktör analizi ile saptanmÕúWÕr. Envanterin güvenirlik çalÕúmalarÕ kapsamÕnda Cronbach Alpha katsayÕVÕ ve madde toplam korelasyonlarÕ hesaplanmÕú, testi yarÕlama yöntemi kullanÕlmÕúWÕr. Envanterin Cronbach Alpha katsayÕVÕ .9536, standartlaúWÕUÕlmÕú Cronbach Alpha katsayÕVÕ .9542 olarak belirlenmiútir. Envanterin madde toplam korelasyonlarÕQÕn tamamÕ .99 ve üzeri de÷erlerde da÷ÕOÕm göstermiútir. Analizlerin sonucunda, Maggie McVay Lynch Ö÷renme Stili Envanterinin geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracÕ oldu÷una karar verilmiútir. AyrÕca araúWÕrmada bulunan sonuçlar, envanterin Türk toplumu için uygun oldu÷unu ortaya koymaktadÕr

 In this study, Maggie McVay Lynch Leaning Style Inventory was analyzed in terms of its linguistic equivalence, validity and reliability in order to adapt the Learning Style Inventory into Turkey conditions. The study was conducted with 668 student (321 girls, 347 boys) from different departments of Hacettepe University, Faculty of Education. The original Inventory has 60 items and it is three-point Likert-style. Content and construct validity studies were done within the validity of the Inventory. For the content validity of the Learning Style Inventory, expert views were taken and construct validity was determined by factor analysis. Within the reliability studies of the Inventory, Cronbach Alpha value and itemtotal correlations were calculated and split half method was used. Inventory’s Cronbach Alpha is .9536 and standardized Cronbach Alpha value is .9542. All of the item-total correlations of the Inventory were distributed over .99. As a result of the analysis, it is decided that Maggie McVay Lynch Learning Style Inventory is a reliable and valid instrument. Besides, the values found in this study showed that the Inventory is suitable for Turkish society.
