Özet

Despite currently prevalent medical, and interventional treatment methods ischemia still continues to be an important health problem. Inhibition of late sodium current into cells has emerged as a new target in the treatment of ischemia, and ranozolin is the most important drug developed to this end. Ranozolin which displays its antianginal effect without effecting heart rate, and blood pressure is recommended as a treatment alternative with proved efficancy in addition to conventional treatment. In this paper, we have attempted to summarize clinical studies which investigated effectiveness of ranozolin.
