Özet

The purpose of this study is to survey computer skills, foreign language skills, research skills, information seeking purposes and information use of undergraduate students of the Department of Information Management at Hacettepe University. Students' opinions about Department and organizations they wish to work for after graduation are also explored. A questionnaire is compiled and 259 students filled out the questionnaire. Data collected through the survey is evaluated by PASW. Findings are expected to contribute to short- and long-term planning efforts and to the adjustment of the programme according to students' knowledge, skills and needs.
