Özet

Several studies demonstrated that Diabetes mellitus (DM) enhances the risk for Alzheimer's disease (AD). Although hyperglycemia and perturbed function of insulin signaling have been proposed to contribute to AD pathogenesis, the molecular mechanisms behind this association is not clear yet.
