In this article, we've treated the usage of the poetic texts in the courses of the French as a foreign language. First, we enumerated the contributions of a poetic text on the language courses (because of the fact that this one is an aesthetic, artistic and creative language, it creates an effect with the games of sounds and the language games); then we've studied the analysis methods for the poetic texts. We've chosen two poems of a same poet, written with eight years of gap: "Fall song" and "It cries in my heart" of Verlaine. We've proposed-a poetic analysis at the level of form, of meaning and of enunciation: After this small analysis, we compared them and,we showed the resemblances and the differences between them. Finally, we disclosed the fact that; in contrast to-the narrative texts, in the poetic texts, the poets don't consider the cohesion and the coherence.
