Özet

Scamper technique is a user-friendly and entertaining brain storming technique, which can be use to develop the creativity and creative thinking skills of students. This study examines the opinions of parents regarding the use of SCAMPER technique in creating the awareness of Ataturk in second grade students in primary school. Aiming to determine the opinions of parents, this study used case study method from qualitative research techniques. The study included seven classroom teachers, 187 students and 98 parents of students. Descriptive analyses were made examining the opinions of teachers. The study found that the opinions of parents had two dimensions as cognitive and affective; and the results from the examinations of parents' views indicated that they had positive opinions regarding the use of SCAMPER technique in creating the awareness of Ataturk in students.
