Özet

Neuroblastoma is the most common extracranial solid malignancy of the childhood population and is generally regarded as an embryonal tumor. It constitutes 7% to 10% of all pediatric cancer cases.(1,2) The cellular origin of this tumor type is derived from the immature neural crest. Considering this origin, it is not surprising to see neuroblastoma in parts of the body where these cells are residing.
