Proje Özeti

For the first time, two orthogonal analytical platforms (GC-MS and LC-qTOF-MS) will be performed for metabolomics analysis to find new potential candidate of the biomarkers for asthmatic and COPD patients from breath samples. Moreover, a pathway targeted metabolomic analysis for trace analysis of potential candidate of the biomarkers in the exhaled breath condensate (EBC) samples of asthma and COPD patients will be performed with capillary electrophoresis-diode array detector (CE-DAD). After identifying the potential candidate of the biomarker/s in patients, we will try to fabricate a microchip electrophoresis (ME) to analyze target candidate of the biomarker in the patient’s EBC. Given that, the ME provides fast and POC analysis, therefore it may gain an important clinical relevance.
